Curriculum Intent

The intent of our curriculum – across all subjects – is to prepare our children for their transition to secondary school and the next stage in their personal development. We do this by:

• Ensuring that our curriculum is rich in both content and skills and accessible to all our children. It allows them to make lasting changes to their long-term memory i.e. to learn. 

• Encouraging our learners to be curious about the subjects they study and providing a curriculum that is both fascinating and develops a life-long love of learning. 

• building a curriculum with a strong moral code at its centre. Celebrating the diversity of modern Britain and developing a love of the natural world.
