Class 5 loved stepping into the role of some of their favourite characters from our class book.
Class 5 Investigate Forces
Year 5 have been investigating the effect of different forces over the last few weeks in science. Here we can see them exploring upthrust (by designing different shaped boats) and air resistance (with paper spinners).
Six times a year, the children write a piece in their Black Book to show how their writing is progressing. This week's writing was all about the mysterious Dream Machine which the children loved trying to figure out how it works.

Hello and welcome to Class 5.
We hope you and your family have been able to have a relaxing summer break and are ready for the year ahead. It has been lovely to meet everyone this week and begin to get to know each other.
Thanks to all those who helped their child with their summer challenges – we have a great selection of postcards from all over the world, this year. We are slowly working our way through hearing about all their adventures.
