Class 3

Class 3 have been incredibly busy this half term.  It is unbelievable how many amazing things we have managed to fit into our final term in Year Three.

At the beginning of July, we had an eventful trip to Knowsley Safari Park. It was an action packed day from start to finish! First, we visited the safari school to learn all about the animals at Knowsley. Then, we  watched  a sealion show in an enormous arena. We all cheered loudly when the sealions did their final trick of the show.  After that, we found out all about the birds at Knowsley and learnt some amazing facts about eagles and owls. Finally, we returned to the coach to visit all the fascinating animals on our guided safari tour. 

In our final week, we put on a science fair for the Reception and Year 1. We have had so much fun working with magnets that we decided to design our own experiments to present to the younger children. Some of the questions included: Are big magnets stronger than smaller magnet?  Are all metals magnetic?  Are all coins magnetic under water?
